Covalus provided comprehensive Transition Planning, Move Planning, and Patient Move Planning for this three-story, 117,000 SF emergency care center. The new facility nearly triples the square footage of Texas Health Fort Worth’s existing emergency department and increases patient beds from 56 to 100. The hospital’s services include cardiovascular services, high-risk and routine obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics and sports medicine, neonatal intensive care, Level II trauma, and emergency medicine. The facility includes 90 exam rooms, 11 triage bays, 13 emergency care rooms, 12 extended care rooms, 36 diagnostic care rooms, 26 quick-care rooms, a Helistop, an Imaging suite, 6,500 square feet of geriatric care clinic and a 7,000-square-foot graduate medical education suite.
