Covalus provided comprehensive medical equipment planning for this multi-phased, 170,000 SF expansion project. The pavilion modernizes the pediatric intensive care unit with 16 new PICU beds and creates a new outpatient surgery center with the addition of two new operating room suites. The facility includes Outpatient Surgery Preparation, Stage 2 Recovery, a Outpatient Testing/Lab Center, and 22 private suites and 25 rooms for day-surgery patients, allowing more privacy for staff and patients’ families.
